In the settlement reached in the final minutes before the trial was scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Fox News agreed to pay $787.5 million, which is equivalent to half of the damages requested by Dominion.
Dominion, one of the largest manufacturers of voting machines in the United States, was supposed to take Fox News to court today due to its false claims about election fraud and the company’s role in it.
