10 members of Ismail Haniyeh’s family were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza
The Hamas group and the Gaza Civil Defense Agency announced that during an Israeli airstrike on the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, 10 members of the family of Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Hamas, were killed in the Shati refugee camp in northern Gaza.
In its statement, Hamas confirmed this news and declared that it holds the government of Joe Biden, the President of the United States, responsible for the ongoing war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The statement mentions that the United States continues to provide political and military cover to Israel, as well as the necessary time to destroy and devastate the Gaza Strip.
Mahmoud Basal, the spokesperson for the Gaza Civil Defense Agency, also told the French news agency that as a result of this attack, 10 people, including the sister of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’ political bureau, were killed.
