10,000 People Gathered at Haft-Sin Table in Persepolis, Fars Cultural Heritage

Cultural Heritage of Fars: 10,000 people sat at the Haft-Sin table in Persepolis

The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism of Fars announced the presence of more than 10,000 Nowruz guests at the New Year ceremony at the World Heritage site of Persepolis.

Mohammad Sabet Eqlidi stated that the New Year ceremony was not held at any of the national and world heritage sites except for the two World Heritage sites of Persepolis and the Hafezieh Cultural Complex. He said this ceremony at the World Heritage site of Persepolis was attended by more than 10,000 Nowruz guests and visitors, and afterward, visiting this site was announced to be free for participants.

He added that the New Year ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the national anthem and continued with religious and cultural ceremonies, the morning call to prayer, and New Year supplications.

The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism of Fars reminded that the Haft-Sin table of Nowruz was also spread at the entrance of the Apadana Palace in this World Heritage site.
