Head of Foreign Schools: 1300 Iranian Students Returned to the Country After School Closures in the UAE
Mohammad Salimi, head of the International Center and Schools Abroad, announced that three days after the start of the US and Israel’s war with Iran, the permit for Iranian schools to operate in the United Arab Emirates was revoked.
According to him, about 2300 students were affected by this decision, with 1300 of them returning to Iran after receiving their academic records.
Salimi added that another thousand students, who were unable to return, are continuing their education online under the supervision of Iranian schools in Istanbul, Turkey.
These developments have occurred while the UAE has recently become one of the main targets of Iranian attacks, facing economic security pressures and disruptions in some infrastructures.
