According to the statistics from the French Ministry of the Interior, during widespread protests on Tuesday, March 28, in Paris and several other cities in the country, 175 police officers were injured and about 200 people were arrested. In Paris, at least two protesters were also injured.

According to reports, a group of protesters in Paris dressed in black clothing and wearing masks attacked a supermarket and looted it. The police used tear gas to confront this group. However, it is said that Tuesday’s protests in France were less violent compared to the previous week, and the number of protesters has also decreased.

The French Ministry of the Interior estimated the number of participants in the protests across the country to be 740,000, but the CGT labor union claimed there were two million protesters. This is while last Thursday, three and a half million people participated in the protests.
