18 students poisoned in a school fire in Urmia

One of the classrooms in a girls’ school in Urmia witnessed a fire this morning, and 18 students were injured. They were rescued by the firefighting and emergency personnel, and their general condition is good.

Coincidentally, this school is next to a fire station, which was good news as it meant firefighters could arrive at the scene very quickly.

The officers from Urmia Station No. 4 were dispatched to the fire scene, extinguished the fire, and handed the students over to emergency services. Fortunately, there were no burns among the students.
