Hamid Nikzad, advisor to the Minister of Education and secretary of the cooperation committee between the seminary and the Ministry of Education, said on Tuesday, February 21st, that our children in education are the target of numerous enemy attacks and we must be aware of them.

In this context, he announced the activity of 24,000 clerics in the Ministry of Education.

For the first time in five months, Iranian schools have witnessed widespread student protests against the Islamic Republic government.

Some students were also killed in these protests. The Ministry of Education has not released any statistics on the number of detained students. Human rights groups have stated that since the beginning of the popular uprising, more than 70 children have been killed in Iran.
