3 More Death Sentences Issued in Isfahan

According to the issued sentences, Saleh Mirhashemi Boltaghi, son of Seyed Kazem, the first defendant in the case, was sentenced to death on charges of waging war against God by drawing a Colt pistol, forming and leading a criminal group with the intention of disrupting the country’s security, and conspiracy leading to crimes against internal security. He was also sentenced to 10 years in prison for membership and cooperation with the Mojahedin Khalq Organization.

Majid Kazemi Sheikh Shabani, son of Mohammadreza, the second defendant in the case, was sentenced to death on charges of waging war against God by drawing a Kalashnikov. He was also sentenced to 10 years in prison for charges of membership in illegal groups and gatherings with the intention of disrupting the country’s security, and conspiracy leading to crimes against internal security.

Saeid Yaghubi Kordsefli, son of Keramali, the third defendant in the case, was sentenced to death on charges of waging war against God by drawing a weapon and using a Colt pistol. He was also sentenced to 10 years in prison for charges of membership in illegal groups and gatherings with the intention of disrupting the country’s security, and conspiracy leading to crimes against internal security.
