4.6 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Mashhad

A 4.6 magnitude earthquake shook Mashhad

According to the Seismology Center of Tehran University, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 struck Mashhad and Nishapur in Razavi Khorasan province early on Friday, the 28th of April.

As reported by IRNA, this earthquake occurred at 2:10 AM on Friday, centered in Qadamgah, Zabrkhan County, Nishapur, at a depth of eight kilometers.

This earthquake caused panic among the people of Mashhad, and according to Mohsen Davari, the governor of Mashhad, many citizens and travelers spent last night in the streets. No damage from this earthquake has been reported so far.
