602 People Visit Medical Centers in Khuzestan

Amid widespread protests by citizens of various cities against air pollution, 602 people visited medical centers in Khuzestan province.

In Ahvaz, Habib Haiber, the Deputy Director of Treatment at the city’s University of Medical Sciences, announced that in the past 24 hours, 602 people visited medical centers due to air pollution, with 80 individuals being admitted to regular wards.

The air quality in industrial cities such as Arak and Qazvin has also been declared unhealthy.

Meanwhile, Hamed Yazdi Mehr, the Director General of Crisis Management in Tehran province, announced the continuation of the crisis management alert and urged people to avoid unnecessary travel.

He stated that emergency forces are stationed in the busy squares of the capital, and citizens experiencing shortness of breath, headache, dizziness, and nausea can approach the emergency personnel.
