7 Years in Prison for Fa'ezeh Abdi Pour

7 Years of Imprisonment for Faezeh Abdipour

Faezeh Abdipour, a former union activist at Allameh University and a master’s student in International Relations at Mazandaran University, has been sentenced to a total of 7 years of imprisonment. This includes 4 years for inciting and provoking to murder and war against national security, 1 year for propaganda against the regime in the Revolutionary Court, and 2 years for spreading falsehoods, along with a fine of 2 million tomans in the Criminal Court.

Faezeh Abdipour was abducted from her home in Gorgan on the 1st of Azar 1401 (November 22, 2022). She had previously been arrested in Dey 1396 (December 2017 – January 2018).

The Revolutionary Court on the 10th of Dey (December 31) and the Criminal Court on the 13th of Dey (January 3) issued their verdicts, which were communicated to her lawyer, Mr. Haji Mashhadi, on the 15th of Dey (January 5).
