German Foreign Minister to travel to the Middle East once again
The spokesperson of the German Foreign Ministry in Berlin announced on Thursday, September 4th, that Annalena Baerbock, the Foreign Minister, will travel to the Middle East.
Baerbock is scheduled to visit the countries of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Israel, and Palestinian territories on the eastern coast.
According to the spokesperson of the German Foreign Ministry, Baerbock’s discussions in this trip will focus on the critical situation in the Middle East and reaching a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
This is the ninth visit of the German Foreign Minister to Israel and the eleventh visit to the Middle East since the start of the conflict on October 7th when Hamas attacked Israel, initiating the war in Gaza.
