Israeli special forces have initiated preliminary ground operations in Lebanese territory.
An Israeli official told Anbisie News that Israeli special forces have begun preliminary ground operations in Lebanese territory before the country’s army launches a wider attack.
This operation, which the Israeli army has also confirmed, is mainly focused on reconnaissance and gathering information on Hezbollah’s positions and other information needed by the army.
The Israeli official, however, emphasized that similar operations have been ongoing for months and cannot necessarily be seen as indicating an imminent large-scale ground attack.
