Nikki Haley said after the defeat in Carolina today is not the end of our work.
Nikki Haley, former governor of South Carolina and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations in the Trump administration, congratulated her victory.
She also praised her home state of South Carolina, saying, ‘Regardless of my results, I love the people of this state.’
She said, ‘We must defeat Joe Biden in November. I don’t think Donald Trump can defeat Joe Biden. It’s only a matter of time before Trump doesn’t alienate the people.’
Ms. Haley, following the initial prediction that she received about 40% of the votes, said, ‘I know that 40% is not a small group.’
Regarding whether she will continue to compete, she said, ‘I am a woman who stands by her word.’
While most Americans are dissatisfied with both Donald Trump and Joe Biden, I will not give up this battle.
She said, ‘I am grateful that this is not the end of our work. Tomorrow we go to Michigan and next week we will go to the swing states. We will continue the fight for America and we will not rest until America wins.’
