Senator Graham once again calls for attack on Iran

Senator Graham once again calls for an attack on Iran.

Senator Graham, a Republican with a long history of involvement in US foreign policy in the Middle East, has been expressing his views on Iran-related issues for some time, from the Iran nuclear deal and Iran’s nuclear program to Iran’s role in Middle Eastern developments. He is gradually becoming a symbol of anti-Iran sentiments and Iranophobia. Recently, in response to escalating tensions between Israel, Iran, and Hezbollah, he had encouraged targeting Iran’s refineries to force Iran to pressure Hamas to release hostages. In a recent interview with ABC on Monday, he linked Iran’s role in the region to the deaths of Israeli hostages, including an American citizen among them. In a bizarre statement, he called Iran the great Satan and the main enemy of America and Israel. Graham, continuing his previous statements, this time referred to Iran’s oil facilities and considered the solution to curb Iran’s support for Hamas through the country’s formal threat of military action.

He called for the drafting and announcement of a list of specific and tangible goals in Iran, in which he believes Iranian refineries play a special role. Graham sees Iran’s threat of military attack as the only way to free the hostages. He believes that Iran is the reason the hostages have not been freed.
