Ukraine’s attack on a North Korean arms depot in Russia

Russian authorities on Thursday, October 9, reported explosions of several objects in the Bryansk region and declared a state of emergency in the area. Ukraine claims it targeted an arms depot in this region.

The Ukrainian army announced that it attacked an important arsenal containing artillery shells and missiles, including weapons delivered from North Korea, as well as air-to-surface guided bombs. Russia and North Korea have denied transferring arms between the two countries but have promised to strengthen their military relations.
