A Captagon production workshop was discovered at the Syria-Lebanon border

On Monday, May 4, Syrian General Security Forces announced the discovery of a workshop producing the psychoactive Captagon pills near the country’s border with Lebanon.

According to SANA, the official Syrian news agency, this operation was conducted jointly by anti-narcotics forces and the military, with support from the intelligence department.

Images released by SANA show large quantities of ready pills and raw materials alongside complete pill production equipment.
