Maziar Nourbakhsh, in one of the panels of the INOTEX 2024 exhibition, said that 88 percent of the population of Dubai, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, is made up of immigrants, and five percent of the total number of these immigrants are Iranian.
In recent years, with the intensification of the wave of migration from Iran, a large number of investors and specialists in various fields have migrated to Dubai.
The United Arab Emirates has a population of about 9.3 million people, with roughly one-third living in the capital.
Dubai is one of the modern and famous cities on the Persian Gulf coast that has managed to attract many investors from all over the world and Iran in recent years.
According to the head of the Innovation Economy and Digital Transformation Commission of the Chamber of Commerce, the share of oil in the gross domestic product of the United Arab Emirates has decreased from 60 percent to 27 percent.
