Maziar Noorbakhsh said at one of the panels at the Innotex 2024 exhibition that 88% of Dubai’s population, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, are immigrants, and five percent of the total immigrant population are Iranian.
In recent years, with the intensification of the wave of migration from Iran, a large number of investors and specialists in various fields have migrated to Dubai.
The United Arab Emirates has a population of about 9.3 million, with almost one-third of them living in the capital.
Dubai is one of the modern and famous cities on the shores of the Persian Gulf, which has been able to attract many investors from around the world and Iran in recent years.
According to the head of the Innovation Economy and Digital Transformation Commission of the Chamber of Commerce, the share of oil in the UAE’s gross domestic product has decreased from 60% to 27%.
