A collapsed building on Taleghani Street has resulted in at least three people being injured.

A four-story building on Taleghani Street in Tehran collapsed, causing at least three people to be injured, with one of them reported to be in critical condition.

According to rescue workers, this incident occurred at 17:10 local time today, Tuesday, March 12, near the intersection of Iranshahr Street.

According to Mohammad Esmail Tavakoli, head of Tehran’s emergency center, so far two people have been pulled out from under the rubble. With the collapse of the building’s debris onto the sidewalk and the bus station in front of it, two women were also injured, one of whom is pregnant and has been transferred to a medical center according to Mr. Tavakoli.

In the published images, it can be seen that Red Crescent rescuers, with the help of search dogs, are searching for potential injured individuals.
