A direct communication channel with Iran was established to reduce tensions

J.D. Vance, the U.S. Vice President, said that one of the most important achievements of the Swiss negotiations was the establishment of a direct communication channel with Iran to reduce tensions.

He claimed that the Iranians said they would send someone to Doha to meet with a CENTCOM representative, and through this, many disagreements will be resolved.

Vance also said that the United Arab Emirates is in talks with Iran about economic incentives, an action that, according to him, had never happened before.

These statements come as technical negotiations between Iran and the U.S. continue in Switzerland, with both sides examining the details of the recent agreement’s implementation.
