A group of professors from Science and Industry University have called for the prohibition of security forces entering the university.
According to student councils, these professors have considered the problems created for students following recent protests to be against the dignity of the university.
They have demanded that the security of the university and students be ensured by internal university institutions.
In this letter, nine demands have been raised, which are as follows:
Security forces refraining from entering the university, providing the grounds for the release of students detained in recent incidents, lifting the entry ban on students active in protests, closing the cases of protesting students in disciplinary committees, planning to hear the voices of all students, making cultural programs in the university inclusive, involving students in the management of dormitories, student cafeterias, and sports facilities, activating student organizations and publications, stopping the summoning of professors for refraining from taking attendance during the days of protests and strikes.
