A Group of Science and Industry Professors Call for Banning Security Forces from Entering the University

A group of professors from the University of Science and Technology has called for the prohibition of security forces entering the university.

According to the student councils, these professors have considered the problems created for students following the recent protests to be contrary to the dignity of the university.

They have demanded that the security of the university and students be ensured by internal university bodies.

In this letter, nine demands have been presented, which are as follows:

Security forces should refrain from entering the university, facilitate the release of students arrested in recent incidents, lift the ban on students active in protests, close the cases of protesting students in disciplinary committees, plan to hear the voices of all students, make cultural programs at the university inclusive, involve students in the management of dormitories, student dining facilities, and sports venues, activate student organizations and publications, and stop summoning professors for refusing to take attendance on days of protests and strikes.
