A member of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council is isolated
Seyyed Mohammad Sadr, a member of the Expediency Discernment Council of Iran, states that national interests dictate that we should have relations with all countries in the world except Israel, which we do not recognize, and the United States, which has its own unique characteristics.
If we limit our relations to two or three countries, we are indirectly making ourselves dependent on these countries because when they see that a country is isolated, they conclude that this country is forced to maintain good relations with them and circumstances dictate that it should lean towards these countries.
