A member of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council is in isolation
Seyed Mohammad Sadr, a member of the Expediency Discernment Council of the Iranian National Interests, states that we should have relations with all countries in the world except Israel, which we do not recognize, and the United States, which has its own unique characteristics.
If we limit our relations to two or three countries, we effectively make ourselves indirectly dependent on these countries because when they see that a country is isolated, they conclude that this country is forced to have a good relationship with them, and circumstances dictate that it should lean towards these countries.
