Member of Parliament says some people curse us because of the unveiled

A member of parliament criticized the pressure from Hezbollah youth on representatives regarding the content of the bill supporting modesty and hijab, saying that some families of martyrs send curse messages to representatives.

Reza Taghavi told Tehran’s Hamshahri newspaper that although these individuals are concerned about Islam and the revolution, why should a bill that is neither finalized nor implemented be attacked?

Taghavi responded to some supporters of the Iranian government who consider the penalties outlined in the bill for opponents of mandatory hijab insufficient, saying that it’s impossible to imprison all the unveiled.
