A member of the National Security Commission of Oman has proposed that we suspend enrichment for 6 months

A member of the National Security Commission of the Iranian Parliament said that Oman has proposed we suspend enrichment for 6 months.

Ahmad Bakhshayesh Ardestani, a member of the National Security Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, announced on Monday, May 26, that Oman has proposed a six-month suspension of uranium enrichment in Iran.

This Parliament member told the Iran Observer website that the Omanis have told us to stop enrichment for six months for now and then resume it later.

However, Iran has not yet accepted this proposal from Oman because, based on previous experiences, there is a possibility of further excessive demands from the other party.

So far, neither the officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, nor Oman, nor the United States have confirmed such news.
