A Member of the Parliamentary Education and Research Commission: Establishing Armed Forces Offices in Universities Has Scientific Aspects

A member of the Parliament’s Education and Research Commission said the establishment of armed forces offices in universities has scientific aspects.

Mehrdad Weis Karimi, a member of the Parliament’s Education and Research Commission, in an interview with ILNA reporter about the establishment of armed forces offices in universities, said:

The aim of such a plan is to increase interactions between universities and the armed forces. Some of the research projects of the armed forces are carried out through universities. For example, in the construction of drones, work is certainly done with university elites. In this plan, to strengthen research work and improve it, this connection is established so that this relationship is created more easily and better, and the capacity of elites is used for better communication between the armed forces and universities, and mostly such a connection has scientific aspects.
