A Protester to the Alley Festival Addressing the Head of Bushehr's Culture Department: You Issued the License for Immorality

A protester against the Koocheh Festival tells the head of the Bushehr Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance, ‘You issued a license for immorality.’

A video of a debate over the holding of the Koocheh Festival in an office reportedly belonging to the head of the Bushehr Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance has been circulated on social media.

In this video, the head of this department is criticized for issuing a license for immorality.

The video shows Mohammad Hossein Zandvian, the head of the Bushehr Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance, standing behind his desk, listening to criticisms from unidentified individuals.

One of the critics, objecting to the issuance of the Koocheh Festival license, calls it immorality and tells the head of the department, ‘Why did you issue this license? In any case, you are not exonerated.’

Even if you were forced to.

Mr. Zandvian explains, ‘The legal process for issuing the license was followed. When the inquiries came back positive, why should I have stopped it?’

In response to Mr. Zandvian, another critic present in his office says that he should have also considered the applicant’s background when issuing the license.
