A Report on the Issues Faced by Inmates in Ward 8 of Evin Prison
According to Hrana News Agency, inmates in Ward 8 of Evin Prison are facing issues such as high population density, the lack of adherence to the principle of separating crimes, and the spread of influenza.
Additionally, these inmates are deprived of their most basic rights, including access to hygiene supplies and adequate food.
According to Hrana News Agency, the news organ of the Human Rights Activists in Iran, inmates in Ward 8 of Evin Prison, where a number of political and security prisoners are held, are grappling with numerous problems.
Currently, the number of residents in Ward 8 of Evin Prison has increased to 150, which is about twice the capacity of this ward. According to the family of one of these prisoners, the lack of adherence to the principle of crime separation and the transfer of general crime prisoners to this ward have added to the concerns of the families of security and political prisoners.
