A Russian Bank Launched a Money Transfer System to Iran

A Russian bank has launched a money transfer system to Iran.

On the brink of signing the free trade agreement between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union, a senior official of this body described Iran as a window to significant opportunities and called on Russian traders to take advantage of the new opportunities.

Simultaneously, Sberbank, the largest bank in Russia, which has lost half of its assets due to Western sanctions, announced the launch of a money transfer system to Iran.

The Minister of Trade of the Eurasian Economic Union Commission announced that Moscow seeks to expand trade relations with all countries that show an inclination to expand trade with Russia. According to Andrey Slepnev, Iran has become one of the very active trade partners of Russia.
