A Russian citizen was arrested for inciting instability in France during the Olympic days.
Alongside the ban on Russia’s participation in the Olympic Games in France, there have been numerous reports of Russia’s role in spreading false information, cyberattacks, and even planning a suicide attack in Paris. In the latest development, a Russian citizen was arrested for inciting instability in France during the Olympic days.
Kirill Gryaznov, 40, who was arrested this Sunday during a security forces raid on his home in central Paris, was born in the city of Perm. After graduating in law from the university in this city, he chose to reside in Moscow and worked in financial companies.
Fourteen years ago, he moved to France, attended a culinary school, and was employed as a chef in a restaurant in Courchevel, which was previously the most popular winter resort for Russian oligarchs.
A year later, he returned to Moscow and wrote to his former landlord in Paris from there, claiming he was an employee of the Russian government.
Apparently, during this time, Kirill Gryaznov came under the spotlight of the Russian security organization.
