Fatemeh Molaei, the second wife of Rostam Ghasemi, has been arrested.

Following rumors about the arrest of Mrs. Fatemeh Molaei, the second wife of Rostam Ghasemi, Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Iran Gate contacted Amir Hossein Zamani, her son, to verify the news, which he denied.
In recent days, Rostam Ghasemi has faced serious challenges due to the arrest of Ghasem Makarem Shirazi, who was an advisor and trusted confidant of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development and known as the ‘black box.’ Additionally, Ghasemi’s poor performance in the ministry has been criticized. After Makarem’s arrest, rumors surfaced about Ghasemi’s illness to justify his absence from the ministry, but he was present at work yesterday.
Speculations about Rostam Ghasemi have been fueled by his weak performance and the security and financial case he has in the 2nd branch of the military court, increasing the likelihood of his dismissal.
Previously, during Rostam Ghasemi’s tenure as Minister of Oil, Fatemeh Molaei was his advisor. Interestingly, all news about her activities in the Ministry of Oil has been removed from all news agencies. Fatemeh Molaei, as Ghasemi’s wife, and Amir Hossein Zamani, his stepson, are banned from leaving the country due to their financial and security cases.

Additionally, after the arrest of Ghasem Makarem, Rostam Ghasemi’s senior assistant, there are reports of the arrest of two senior managers from the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
Another article on Iran Gate titled ‘Amir Hossein Zamani is under the protection of Rostam Ghasemi’ was published after this news.
