Abbas Araqchi: The Americans are unable to provide guarantees in the JCPOA.
The head of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations identified the main issue in returning to the JCPOA as the provision of guarantees by the United States.
Araqchi identified the second issue in this regard as the alleged documents provided by Israel to the International Atomic Energy Agency, stating that, in our view, this move by Israel is a worthless game.
He also referred to the recent visit of the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency to Iran, saying that during Grossi’s recent visit to Iran, the issues between the Agency and Iran were discussed, and solutions were outlined for them.
Araqchi said Tel Aviv is trying to present Iran as a threat so that the JCPOA negotiations do not resume.
