Abbas Araghchi: We Will Respond to Trump's Letter at the Appropriate Time

Abbas Araghchi: We will respond to Trump’s letter at the appropriate time.

Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister, in a press conference with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan, mentioned that we have negotiated for the exchange of high-level delegations between the two countries in the coming months. He said we closely exchanged views on the issues of the South Caucasus and believe that the swift signing of this agreement will lead to peace and stability in the region. We encourage both parties to sign this agreement as soon as possible.

In response to a question about Iran’s reply to the American President’s letter, the Foreign Minister said we have not yet responded to the American President’s letter, and this response is being completed and will be provided at the appropriate time.

At the press conference of the Foreign Ministers of Iran and Armenia, Araghchi emphasized that we are explicitly against any changes in international borders and geopolitical changes in the region.
