Abdulrazzaq Amiri was sentenced to house arrest with an electronic ankle bracelet.

According to the Coordinating Council of Teachers’ Associations in Iran, by the order of the Shiraz Revolutionary Court, Abdulrazzaq Amiri, a literature teacher in Shiraz District 1, has been sentenced to house arrest with an electronic ankle bracelet.

Based on this report, he is not allowed to go more than a thousand meters away from his home.

According to this teachers’ union, a deposit of 5 million tomans was taken from him as a guarantee for the maintenance of the electronic ankle bracelet, and he must also pay 600 thousand tomans each month for its maintenance.

According to Iran’s 2023 budget law, the fee for using electronic monitoring equipment, including the electronic ankle bracelet, is set at 20 thousand tomans per day.
