Approximately 42,000 Ukrainians are registered as missing

Since the start of the Russian war, around 42,000 people have gone missing in Ukraine. This statistic was released by the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, while it has also been recently announced that at least 650,000 Russian citizens have permanently relocated abroad since the war began.

The missing Ukrainians include civilians and soldiers who participated in defending their country against Russia.

The Ukrainian state news agency, citing data from the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kyiv, reported that the number of missing persons had even reached 51,000 in recent months, but this figure has decreased.

It has been reported that 3,000 people have been found alive and around 4,000 bodies have been discovered.
