Advisor to the Speaker of Parliament, Dehmalari, neither has a list nor forms alliances with anyone.
Advisor to Larijani said Mr. Larijani neither has a list nor intends to support any list, nor plans to form alliances with anyone.
Mansour Haghighatpour, former member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and advisor to Ali Larijani, referring to rumors about Larijani’s list for the parliamentary elections, said, ‘I have no information about this matter you mention, and Mr. Larijani neither has a list nor intends to support any list, nor plans to form alliances with anyone.’
He added, ‘Of course, Mr. Motahari is a relative of Mr. Larijani, and in a way, any action he takes is also attributed to Mr. Larijani.’
He continued, ‘But this is a simplistic analysis that attributes any action taken by a relative of someone to a public figure.’
He added, ‘Mr. Motahari has entered the scene, and it is his right to express his opinion and even provide a list, and this is his personal decision, and he does not have a party. However, there has been something called the Voice of the Nation attributed to him for a long time, which participated in previous elections under this title.’
Advisor to Larijani emphasized, ‘I feel that out of kindness and respect, he has put my name on the list, but we do not have any party or political interactions with each other. We were colleagues and friends, but we do not have political interactions.’
Haghighatpour concluded, ‘I don’t think Mr. Motahari has finalized a list, and I don’t think they have a reformist list in Tehran unless their people have changed their electoral districts from other cities to Tehran by last night, in which case a list might form.’
