USS Abraham Lincoln at its closest distance to the Persian Gulf since the war began
Satellite images show that the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln has reached its closest position to the Persian Gulf since the conflicts started.
Satellite images recorded on Saturday indicate that the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln is stationed in the eastern part of the Sea of Oman, approximately 200 kilometers from the southern coast of Iran.
This position is considered the closest this nuclear-powered carrier has been to the Persian Gulf since the war began.
In the same images, two other vessels are also visible, which in terms of size and appearance match the guided-missile destroyers of the U.S. Navy. However, it is not possible to precisely identify these vessels from the images.
