Akhundi: The Advertising Review Commission Gave Me 45 Seconds to Defend Myself

Akhundi stated that the Commission for Reviewing Advertisements has given me 45 seconds to defend myself.

Abbas Akhundi wrote on his Telegram channel that in his opinion, the point we all must learn in the matter of reforms is awareness and timely use of individual and national political rights.

1. I objected to the legal violation of the Guardian Council in the process of reviewing qualifications, yet not even a single line of legal response was given.

2. In order to reclaim the legal rights of the nation and myself, I wrote a letter to Mr. Mohseni Eje’i and I am still awaiting his response.

3. In defense of civil rights, due to two improper attributions made by one of the candidates during the second debate of the election campaign, I filed a legal objection. In this stage, we made a step forward; the Commission for Reviewing Advertisements recognized one case as valid and allocated between 30 to 45 seconds for defense. Although this opportunity is very limited, I will make use of it.
