Al Jazeera: Cryptocurrency collaboration with Trump’s company increased Pakistan’s access to the White House
Al Jazeera reported that Pakistan’s collaboration with Donald Trump’s family cryptocurrency company, although it has not yet had any specific economic achievements, has helped Islamabad reach an unprecedented level of access to the Trump administration.
The report states that World Liberty Financial (WLF) generated over $500 million in revenue for Trump from token sales in 2025. Pakistan was also one of the first countries to sign a memorandum of understanding with one of the subsidiaries of this group to explore the use of the stablecoin USD1.
However, according to Al Jazeera, no pilot project, official license, or recognized transaction involving this cryptocurrency has been carried out in Pakistan so far. Analysts say the most important achievement of this collaboration is not economic but the creation of effective communication channels with the White House and strengthening Pakistan’s diplomatic role, including mediation between Iran and the United States.
