Reaction of Al-Zahra College in Bushehr to the graduation celebration video: We will pursue legal action

Following the release of a video of the graduation celebration of students from Al-Zahra College in Bushehr, the college announced that this event was held without the university’s permission and will pursue legal action until a result is achieved.

Zahra Hajiani, the head of the college, told ISNA news agency that the university’s security is investigating the matter, and the student who filmed the video has been identified and is expected to answer for this action with her father tomorrow.

She stated that the university had no role in organizing this celebration, and the official graduation ceremony by the college has not been held since 2019.

According to Ms. Hajiani, eight students recorded this video in the old district of Bushehr wearing graduation gowns and mixed it with an image of the university’s entrance.

The video was widely shared on social media today and was well-received. In this video, several female students wearing headscarves and graduation attire dance and celebrate to a song by Erfan Tahmasbi.
