Alborz Cyber Police Chief: All VPNs are malware

Colonel Rasoul Jalilian, the head of the Alborz Province Cyber Police, made statements about VPNs. He said cybercriminals commit fraud by sending malware disguised as VPNs. While VPNs may effectively unblock restricted websites, all of them are malware and harm the user’s device.

Jalilian advised people not to use VPNs and noted that using them makes it easier for individuals to access information on mobile phones, leading to the theft of users’ private and banking information.
