Ali Akbari Sent a Confidential Letter About Hijab to Ebrahim Raisi

A confidential letter about hijab was sent to Ebrahim Raisi by Ali Akbari

Ali Akbari, the head of the Policy Council of Friday Prayer Leaders and representative of Iran’s leader, stated that the representatives of the Supreme Leader have written a confidential letter to Ebrahim Raisi about hijab. A few hours ago, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, also urged the police and judiciary to take preventive action against those who insist on opposing mandatory hijab.

Amid increasing pressure from the officials of the Islamic Republic, Mr. Akbari said that a detailed, explanatory, and critical letter regarding the state of chastity and hijab has been sent confidentially to the President.

The details of this letter are not known, but Mr. Akbari mentioned that the related pillars of the system are concerned and actively working to promote the model of a chaste lifestyle. However, at the same time, the enemy seeks to turn this issue into a factor for creating polarization among the people and causing division among revolutionary forces.
