Ali Bagheri, Acting Foreign Minister: We Intend to Abandon Transactions in Dollars

Ali Bagheri, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, stated that we intend to abandon trading in dollars.

Ali Bagheri, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, said that Tehran-Riyadh relations are moving in the right direction and are expanding.

He stated that Iran intends to abandon its financial transactions in dollars to more effectively counter Western sanctions, emphasizing that Iran is serious about this endeavor. This determination also exists among BRICS member countries, so this cooperation can seriously ensure Iran’s interests.

Bagheri stated that the countries that raise allegations against Iran’s nuclear program are the same countries that have been defeated by Iran in other areas. He said these countries want to turn the International Atomic Energy Agency into a platform for settling political scores with Tehran, but with these actions, they damage the technical and professional standing of the Agency.
