Ali Mojtahedzadeh, a lawyer, says photographing women without mandatory hijab violates privacy.
A lawyer states that photographing women who have removed the mandatory hijab for identification purposes is a violation of privacy and unenforceable.
On Sunday, Ali Mojtahedzadeh described the use of traffic cameras to identify women opposing the mandatory hijab as strange and costly, stating, ‘I consider this action illegal and against reason and logic,’ in an interview with the Dadban website.
He emphasized that these actions, regardless of being unreasonable and, in my belief, unenforceable, require enormous costs and extraordinary forces, which would necessitate engaging the entire judiciary to address the hijab issue.
Details of the new government plan to deal with women who refuse the mandatory hijab were first announced on April 8 by Ahmadreza Radan, the police commander.
