Alireza Beigi's BMW Car Costs 24,000 Dollars, But Our People Are Forced to Drive Peugeot

Alireza Beigi has 24,000 dollars for a BMW car, but our people are forced to drive Peugeots.

Ahmed Alireza Beigi, the representative of Tabriz in the parliament, said that on the day the Minister of Industry, Mines, and Trade was impeached, the price of a Peugeot 207 was 1.2 billion tomans, which was equivalent to 24,000 dollars at an exchange rate of 50,000 tomans per dollar. With 24,000 dollars, one can buy the best 2018 BMW, but people have been forced to buy low-quality cars, meaning that with this money, people are compelled to drive a Peugeot 207, for example. When the minister was dismissed, on that same morning, the price of the Peugeot 207 dropped to 700 million tomans. This event is very significant, showing that the absence of a single person can have such an impact on the market and economy, resulting in such a different effect.

The country’s officials are the product of mechanisms that have brought them to these positions and posts, and they feel that to maintain their responsibilities, they no longer need to gain the satisfaction of the people, as the mechanisms will bring them back to power again.
