Jafar Yazerloo, the spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Organization, attributed the flight cancellations to an operational restriction without providing further details.
Previously, during Iran’s missile attack on Israel, flights across Iran were announced canceled for about 48 hours.
Israeli officials continue to threaten that they will respond to Iran’s missile attack.
Simultaneously, according to Iranian media reports, the country’s officials denied rumors of the closure of commercial ports in Hormozgan Province, including Shahid Rajaee and Bahonar ports, due to fears of an Israeli airstrike.
