American Senator: Arresting Trump Will Explode the Country
The Hill website wrote that Lindsey Graham, a Republican senator, in an interview with the Fox and Friends program, mentioned the reluctance of the previous prosecutor before Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney, to arrest Trump on charges of paying $130,000 in hush money to an American actress, and said that Bragg is under political pressure to prosecute Trump.
Graham explained why he thinks Bragg is now ready to charge Trump by saying that one of the people who worked in the Manhattan district attorney’s office had previously written a book that was critical of Cyrus Vance Jr., the former Manhattan district attorney. He said, ‘You should have prosecuted Trump, but you let him go. Now Bragg feels the pressure.’
Without providing evidence, Trump claimed in a blog post that illegal meetings from the Manhattan district attorney’s office indicate he will be arrested. He did not provide details about these allegations.
