Amir-Abdollahian introduced Saudi Arabia’s new ambassador in Tehran

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has stated that Saudi Arabia has introduced its new ambassador in Tehran.

He also mentioned that Iran will soon introduce its new ambassador to this country in Riyadh.

Amir-Abdollahian added that efforts are underway to reopen the embassy and consulate general of the Islamic Republic in Saudi Arabia.

In the middle of Farvardin of the current year, a diplomatic delegation from Saudi Arabia traveled to Iran to reopen the embassy and consular representations of this country.

The efforts to reopen the embassies of the two countries are taking place following an agreement reached on March 10th, 19 Esfand 1401, between the two countries with China’s mediation to resume relations.
