Amir Reza Khadem was dismissed from his position

Amir Reza Khadem, a former world and Olympic wrestling champion, has been dismissed from his position due to his critical stances in the past few months.

Although Amir Reza Khadem’s term at Hegta, the Ministry of Labor’s tourism holding company, was extended for the next four years three months ago, his dismissal was suddenly issued a few days ago, and he was removed from the organization.

There hasn’t been proper clarification regarding Amir Reza’s dismissal, but it seems that this decision was due to his critical stances in recent times.

Like his brother Rasoul Khadem, Amir Reza Khadem has been sharply critical of the government’s behavior towards protesters in recent months. Yesterday, on his Instagram page, Khadem criticized the recent statements of the Speaker of the Parliament and wrote: ‘Brother, everyone can pretend to be oblivious, but you know well that when the government persistently and arrogantly insists on labeling all protesters as rioters, there is no longer any need for the enemies’ efforts to deepen the divides and distances.’
